SEYMOUR – Registration is open for the 2024 Jackson County Watermelon Festival pageant.
The pageant will be held at 6 p.m. July 28 in the Brownstown Central High School auditorium.
The event is open to Jackson County residents in various age categories ranging from 4 to 22 years old.
The deadline to register is June 16.
The winners in each category will receive a scholarship, prize package, and unique festival experience. Awards will be given to winners and first runner-ups in all age categories.
The Watermelon Festival Queen also will advance to compete at the Indiana State Festivals Pageant.
