SULLIVAN – A Sullivan man died in a one-vehicle crash early Friday morning at the intersection of State Road 54 and Section Street in Sullivan.
Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called to the area of State Road 54 and Section Street at 2:00 a.m.
Deputy Hunter Givens reports that 58-year-old Cary Brett Wayman of Sullivan was traveling west on State Road 54. As the vehicle came to the T intersection, it appeared to have proceeded straight through the stop sign and struck a tree.
Wayman was pronounced dead at the scene.
