MITCHELL- The fireworks show in Mitchell will take place July 5 at dark. The display is the centerpiece of the Independence Day celebration that brings the entire community together. Mayor Don Caudell is asking the public for donations to help offset some of the cost of the show.
The City of Mitchell hopes to raise $12,000. Anyone can donate, whether on behalf of a business or an individual. If you feel that you can contribute financially to the fireworks display, please make a check payable to the City of Mitchell-Fireworks Fund and mail or drop it off at:
