LAWRENCE CO. – Thursday, June 20, is the last day for candidates for the School Board to file to run in the general election for North Lawrence Community Schools and Mitchell Community Schools.
School board races are non-partisan seats, and each board member serves four-year terms. Candidates for each school board race must file a petition with the county clerk’s office, including signatures of ten registered voters in the district they reside in and are running for.

- Wendy Miller District 4
Filing for Mitchell Community Schools:
- Patrick Redman Mitchell District 1
- Dwight Dunbar Mitchell District 2
