LOOGOOTEE – Loogootee Summerfest kicks off tonight on the square in downtown Loogootee.
Rides will begin at 5:00 p.m., with unlimited ride armbands available for $15.
The Queen Contest will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the teen band MCL performing on the main stage at 7:30 p.m.
More than 30 vendors providing their wares and good food will be set up.
Bring your lawn chairs for free live music. Friday night, Eighty Sixt will open for “The Boys in the Band” a tribute to Alabama. Saturday night, Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders will open for the “Van Halen Invasion” a tribute to Van Halen.
This Saturday at Loogootee Summerfest, there will be a Cruise-in on the square at 3:00 p.m., followed by an evening of Parade at 6:30 p.m.
