INDIANAPOLIS— Excitement is building as the 2024 season of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie kicks off on June 28. The Music of Queen with Windborne and the ISO will rock the Prairie Friday night, June 28, and the Music of Led Zeppelin with Windborne and the ISO takes place Saturday evening, June 29. Tickets for these shows and for all other concerts in the 2024 summer season of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie are available on the ISO’s website, at their box office downtown, and at most central Indiana Kroger stores. From symphonic rock hybrids to tributes to ABBA, Jimmy Buffett, and more, there’s something for everyone this season.

Season highlights include 11 performances by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra taking you on a unique musical journey through the classic rock pantheon, disco grooves, soulful sensations, and time-honored traditions.
Highlights of the summer:
The season opens with Windborne’s the Music of Queen (arranged by Brent Havens and conducted by Martin Herman) on June 28 as Broadway star MiG Ayesa delivers a fabulous rendition of Freddie Mercury’s vocals, amplified by a rock band and the talented musicians of the ISO. On June 29, conductor/arranger Brent Havens presents another can’t-miss symphonic rock hybrid: The Music of Led Zeppelin featuring vocalist Randy Jackson, who captures the spirit of legendary Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant. July 3-5, the Star-Spangled Symphony is back with patriotic fanfare and fireworks, featuring conductor Alfred Savia leading the ISO.
Get ready to dance as conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez heats up the stage with Disco Fever July 12-13. Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly brings the best of legendary film composer John Williams July 19-20. Acclaimed singer Capathia Jenkins performs the greatest hits of soul and R&B in “She’s Got Soul” July 26 with music by Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Adele, and many others. On Saturday, July 27, singer-songwriter Cody Fry returns to perform with the ISO after a sellout performance at Hilbert Circle Theatre in January.
The 2024 season also features the popular Face2Face with the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, plus musical tributes to ELO, Jimmy Buffett, ABBA, Bob Seger, Taylor Swift, Tom Petty, Tina Turner, and the Beatles. On Aug. 2, Evil Woman: The American ELO brings your favorite ELO songs to the stage, including “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Turn to Stone,” “Can’t Get It Outta My Head,” and more. Don your captain’s hat and join Yächtley Crëw on August 10 as you sing along to soft rock hits from the 70s and 80s, including “Ride Like the Wind” by Christopher Cross and Toto’s “Africa.”

Welcome to Boogie Wonderland! Put on your dancin’ shoes and meet us on the dance floor for a groovy trip down memory lane with non-stop Disco hits including “That’s the Way (I Like It)”, “It’s Raining Men,” “We Are Family,” “I Will Survive,” “Stayin’ Alive,” “The Hustle,” “Hot Stuff,” and more! Vocalists Maiya Sykes and B. Slade join the ISO to celebrate Disco’s hottest hits.

Capathia Jenkins brings her Broadway talent and harmonious vocals to Kroger Symphony on the Prairie for an evening of soulful hits by Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Adele, and many more. Maestro Everly leads the ISO in this program.
*July 27 (Saturday): Cody Fry with the ISO
Fry will perform with the ISO under the direction of Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly. Fry is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. He performed with the ISO in January 2024 to a sellout crowd. Fry performed on American Idol and has released several solo albums since 2006. His work spans many genres including pop, orchestral pop, and soul. In 2021, he was nominated for a Grammy Award.

Know before you go:
- Gates open at 6 p.m. and concerts begin at 8 p.m. each night unless otherwise noted.
- Worried about the weather? No problem! You may exchange your tickets by emailing the ISO box office at iso@indianapolissymphony.org before the start of the concert.
- Date-specific tickets may be purchased via the official ISO website. Attendees must have tickets (mobile or hard copy) to enter each performance. Children two years old and under do not need a ticket.
- In addition to purchasing online, patrons may scan a QR code at select Central Indiana Kroger stores to receive a discount when they purchase tickets on the ISO website. Tickets are also sold at the ISO Box Office located on Monument Circle. Patrons are advised to use one of these three methods to purchase tickets.
- The ISO is not responsible for purchases made on third-party websites. If you are purchasing online, please make sure you are purchasing from IndianapolisSymphony.org.
- Tickets can be downloaded to phones for all ISO concerts at Conner Prairie. Likewise, patrons can print their tickets at home and bring them.
- Table rentals, reserved seating, and tickets to the Huntington Bank Sunset Lounge are available in limited quantities. Reserved seating tickets and table reservations (a maximum of ten per table) are available for most shows. Visit the ISO website for the list of shows that have reserved seating available.
- Patrons may carry in their own food and beverages and purchase refreshments on-site including beer, wine, and spirits.
- Three large LED screens enhance the stage view from every location on the lawn.
- Reserved parking is $40 for each show and provides easy-access parking. Reserved parking is available for individual concerts.
- Groups of 30 or more may purchase discounted tickets to Kroger Symphony on the Prairie at a 10% discount. For group sales, contact the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Box Office at (317) 639-4300.
