“Our biggest seller has been slabs, for people to make their own jewelry,” said Steve Gray from Martinsville, owner of Gray Stone Jewelry, referring to the rough-cut pieces of stone people hone into their own works of art.

David Stienstra from Terre Haute has been attending the show for eight years. He said it’s “great to see friends year after year” when it comes to socializing with other enthusiasts. “There aren’t many people interested in rocks,” he added, “so it’s great to get everyone together in one location.” His biggest draw this year? Beautiful Celestite crystals.
