HELTONVILLE—The Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Department is a dedicated community resource. Focusing on safety and swift response, the department provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, and rescue operations. Its commitment enhances local security and fosters a strong sense of community support and preparedness.
On Saturday, the volunteers came out to serve a fundraising breakfast aimed at financially supporting the department. Bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs, biscuits, and gravy were on the menu, and all were worth the trip and the donation.
“The fundraisers are a great impact for the community, and for us as well,” said Cody Bryan, board president and captain of the Pleasant Run Fire Department,” it helps us with the material items we need, but also to get out into the community.”
The Pleasant Run Fire Department wants to thank all who came out to support them and the fundraiser.
