SOUTHERN INDIANA- The storms this week have significantly impacted so many people. But we have seen the power of community as we have come together to help each other.
From the simple act of offering water, a charging outlet, or firing up the chainsaw to help clear a yard, we are banding together. DON’T STOP! This is what makes us a great community! Please continue to check in with friends and neighbors.
Here are several resources available as the recovery continues.
- Hoosier Hills Food Bank is offering a free emergency food distribution tomorrow, Friday, June 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2333 West Industrial Park Drive. There is a limit of two households per vehicle, and no delivery is available. * Community donations are welcome, as the food bank will draw on other resources to provide for this distribution. Visit hhfoodbank.org to make a gift.
- Indiana 211 is activated to collect reports of residential and structural damage caused by the June 25, 2024 storm. Please submit damage reports through IN211.org or dial 2-1-1 or (866) 211-9966 for assistance if you do not have internet access.
