MONROE CO. – Two government programs, the Inflation Reduction Act and the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), currently exist.
The Inflation Reduction Act provides a 30% tax credit plus a bonus of 10% depreciation, and REAP provides a 50% Grant. These programs can be used together to cover 90% of the cost of installing a Solar Panel System on a farm or rural business. This unique opportunity will not last long in today’s political environment.
