MORGAN COUNTY— Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Force Construction Company is scheduled to begin bridge rehabilitation work on southbound State Road 67, approximately half a mile southwest of Centerton, on or after Monday, July 15, to complete a small structure replacement project in Morgan County.
Work will occur between North Mason Lane and Rob Hill Road and, weather permitting, be completed by late November. Motorists can expect lane shifts and lane closures while work is in progress. Crews will begin placing signage in the area prior to the start of construction.
This project is part of a $8 million contract awarded to Force Construction in May 2024. The contract includes seven district bridge projects. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
