DUBOIS COUNTY— A Tri-State lake now has 54,000 new fish.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources East Fork State Fish Hatchery recently completed their annual striped bass and hybrid striped bass stockings.
Officials say more than 78,000 striped bass fingerlings and 146,000 hybrid striped bass fingerlings were added to 12 lakes around the state.
The stocked fish averaged one to two inches in length.
Patoka Lake in Dubois County was among the 12 locations where fish were added.
DNR says the lake received 10,000 striped bass and 44,000 hybrids.
