PLAINFIELD- The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a temporary closure of Stafford Road in connection with a local project.
Beginning on or after Wednesday, July 17, crews will close Stafford Road between Plainfield Road and Bridgeport Road over the east fork of the White Lick Creek. During the closure, crews will be doing bridge work and replacing pavement.
The official detour around the closure is Ronald Reagan Parkway to Bridgeport Road. Work is expected to last until October but is weather permitting and subject to change.
INDOT encourages all drivers to seek an alternate route and use caution in and around all work zones.
