BEDFORD— Lawrence Superior Court II Judge Robert Cline sentenced a Sellersburg man to the Indiana Department of Correction after he failed to comply with the terms of his probation.
Gage England, 29, pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice, a Level 6 felony, and possession of a narcotic drug, a Level 6 felony, on August 29, 2022, as a part of a negotiated plea agreement. He was sentenced to 1640 days, 340 days jail credit, and 570 days suspended. He was ordered to serve 730 days on home detention in exchange for his guilty plea.
However, after failing to comply with the terms and conditions of his probation, Judge Cline sentenced England to 500 days in the Indiana Department of Corrections. Cline took judicial notice of England’s two new felony charges in Clark County while on probation.
England’s probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
