PAOLI– A free summer festivity that brings together people, friends, and families of all ages to celebrate recovery will return to JayCee Park on Saturday, July 27. Beginning at 4 p.m., the Celebrate Orange County Recovery event will feature live music from the 2/8 Ministries Band and food trucks (including free food from Smokin’ Jim’s House of Barb-B-Q), a play area for kids, and other activities.
The four-hour event, which celebrates recovery from substance use disorder, will include plenty of fun and fellowship and updates on what recovery looks like in Orange County, Indiana. Organized by the Safe Haven Recovery Engagement Center in Paoli and supported by 2/8 Ministries, it is based on the successful Summer of Recovery tour from 2023. It is made possible by the Families In Action LCC and the Orange County Community Foundation.
Recovery is happening in Orange County and the region! Come celebrate with friends and families.
The public event is free and open to all. The Safe Haven Recovery Engagement Center is a recognized Regional Recovery Hub serving people in Orange, Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Lawrence, Martin, Perry, Pike, and Washington counties. People from any of those counties are welcome and encouraged to take part in the July 27 event.
