INDIANA—Now is a great time to get your trail cameras out and scout for deer signs in your favorite hunting spots.
Remember, trail cameras can be placed in Fish and wildlife areas, Wetlands Conservation Areas, Wildlife Management Areas, State Forests, and State Recreation Areas if they are legibly marked with the camera’s owner’s name, address, and telephone number in English or the individual’s customer identification number issued by the DNR.
If you don’t have trail cameras, try looking for other signs, such as bedding areas, feeding areas, and travel corridors, from now until deer season.
