I-465 lane and ramp closures:
- Westbound I-465 between I-65 and I-70 will be reduced to one lane with 20-minute stops nightly from Monday, July 22, through Friday, July 26, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for bridge beam delivery and placement. This single-lane condition is expected to cause delays. Use an alternate route if possible.
- I-465 eastbound from I-70 to I-65 will be reduced to one lane from 9 p.m. on Friday, July 26, to 4 a.m. on Monday, July 29, for movement of the barrier wall, pavement striping, and lane shifts. The following entrance ramps will also be closed during this time:
- I-70 eastbound ramp to I-465 southbound
- SR 67/Kentucky Avenue entrance ramp to I-465 eastbound
- Mann Road entrance ramp to I-465 eastbound
- SR 37/Harding Street entrance ramp to I-465 eastbound
- US 31/East Street northbound entrance ramp to I-465 eastbound
- Delays are expected over the weekend. Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route
- Starting Friday, July 26, at 9 p.m., the westbound I-465 exit ramp at Mann Road (Exit 7) will be closed for up to 60 days for pavement reconstruction in westbound lanes. Motorists needing to access Mann Road from westbound I-465 should exit at Kentucky Avenue/SR 67 (Exit 8).
- Separate from the I-69 Finish Line project, lane, and ramp closures are planned on I-465 southbound on the southeast side of Indianapolis over the next few weeks. More information is available here.
I-69 Traffic Updates:
- This week, a rolling single-lane closure is expected for northbound I-69 between SR 144 and Fairview Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for installation of Raised Pavement Markings and punch list items.
