JACKSON CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor RAM Construction Services plans to begin work on US 50 over Mutton Creek Ditch and Storm Creek Ditch on or after Thursday, July 25, to complete two thin deck overlay projects in Jackson County.
Work will take place on US 50 just east of US 31 and is expected to take up to two weeks, weather permitting. Crews will begin work over Mutton Creek Ditch and complete work over Storm Creek Ditch.
Temporary traffic signals will be utilized while work is in progress. Crews will begin to place signage in the area before construction.
This work is part of a contract awarded to RAM Construction in November 2023. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
