Dubois County Sheriff named President of the Indiana Sheriffs Association for 2025

DUBOIS CO. — Dubois County Sheriff Tom Kleinhelter was named president of the Indiana Sheriffs Association.

As President of the Indiana Sheriffs Association, Sheriff Kleinhelter will oversee the implementation of the Association’s initiatives, including educational programs, legislative advocacy, and efforts to improve Sheriff services. 

The announcement was made at the summer conference in French Lick.

Officials say the conference’s purpose was to provide Sheriffs and their staff with a way to engage in professional development, training, and networking.

The conference offered educational sessions, workshops, and discussions on the latest trends, challenges, and best practices in law enforcement.
