BEDFORD—The Bedford Board of Zoning Appeals met yesterday at the City Concourse. The board heard a request from Celestin Webb, who is seeking a permit to run a small sewing machine repair business from an outbuilding at her residence on Sycamore Drive.
A fellow citizen’s only concern was the placement of large commercial signage in their neighborhood. Webb assured the board that the signage would be minimal and within city ordinance.
In addition to repairing sewing machines, Webb will give instructional sessions on their proper usage.
The motion to approve the special permit was made and seconded. It was then moved to a vote and passed unanimously.
