Mary A. Bailey, 89, of Bedford, passed away at 10:37 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel.
Born September 9, 1934, she was the daughter of Ora and Goldie (Eads) Deckard. She married Rodney Bailey on October 11, 1954, and he preceded her in death on September 12, 2019. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Community Church.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Bailey and fiancé, Jill A. Deckard of Bedford, Jeff Bailey and significant other, Vicki Guthrie, of Bedford; two daughters, Yvonne Tincher and Michelle Bailey, both of Bedford; a son-in-law, Rick Kern, of Springville; six grandchildren, Tiffany Chumley, and husband, Dustin, Chelsey Wisley, and husband, Josh, Andy Kern and wife, Sarah, of Wisconsin, Derek Kern, and wife, Kayla, of Bedford, Jason Tincher, of Alabama, Megan Webster, of Bedford; several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Andrea Kern, three brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, July 27th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Andy Kern officiating. Burial will follow in Mundell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the mortuary.
