BEDFORD – It is hard to believe the school year begins on Wednesday, August 7.
The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County is preparing for its annual Back to School Bash, which will take place on Saturday, August 3. The event will run from Noon until 4:00 p.m.
There will be free school supplies, free haircuts, free vision and diabetes screenings, games, and more.
But they need your help will providing students with school supplies.
There are a couple of ways you can help:
- Provide a monetary donation, and club officials will shop for the school supplies
- Ship or drop off school supplies at the Limestone Unit
- Share with friends, family, churches, or businesses who are looking for somewhere to donate this back-to-school season
The Club has also created Amazon and Walmart wish lists for those who would like to utilize those methods and linked North Lawrence Community Schools and Mitchell’s School Supply Lists.
