VINCENNES – A 23-year-old Vincennes woman was arrested on five counts of conspiracy to commit attempted murder after a shooting near the Autumn Ridge Apartments in Vincennes on Monday, July 22.
Police arrested Madalyn Dennis Wednesday in Lawrence County, Illinois.
Dennis is accused of driving the vehicle where the shots originated from. The alleged triggerman in the shooting remains at large.
Five people were in the targeted car, which led to the five conspiracy counts against Dennis.
The male victim was shot in the head about his right rear and driven to Good Samaritan Hospital by another person in the car. He was transferred to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, where he underwent surgery to remove the bullet.
