PUTNAM CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces temporary lane closures on US 40 east of Manhattan in Putnam County.
Beginning on or after Thursday, August 1, crews will close the right lanes on both US. 40 eastbound and westbound for bridge repairs and maintenance. The lane closures will be between County Road 445 West and County Road 325 West.
Work is expected to last until late September but is weather permitting and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to buckle up, put their phones down, and prioritize worker safety while driving through this and all work zones.
