BLOOMINGTON— Olde Lane Orchard provides customers high-quality fruit, vegetables, and bedding plants. The Lehman family has operated the farm since 2002.
They will be at the Tuesday Bloomington Community Farmers Market at Switchyard Park, 1601 South Rogers Street, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. today.
Long-standing lanes access their home and the orchard in Northern Daviess County, Olde Lane Orchard. Fruit has been their business since 2002, and they aim to give Bloomington Community Farmer Market’s customers exceptional produce and flowers.
The market tables groan with the mouthwatering peaches, apples, and pears harvested from approximately sixteen acres of trees in a typical season. Every year, they learn a bit more, from pruning to integrated pest management, and they enjoy what they do. Many local customers visit the house regularly, and they welcome travelers as well.
Tuesday Market features farm vendors selling fresh, locally grown products and prepared food vendors offering ready-to-eat offerings made with locally made and grown ingredients.
Admission is free.
