City of Bloomington Council for Community Accessibility will commemorate the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act on Saturday, August 3

BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington Council for Community Accessibility will commemorate the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on Saturday, August 3, from 9:00 a.m. until Noon.

The event will occur on the Fernandez Plaza by City Hall, 401 N. Morton Street, and the Farmers’ Market, with a rain location inside the City Hall Atrium. 

The event will emphasize accessibility for Bloomington residents by featuring organizations that support or are led by individuals with disabilities.

Attendees can expect informational booths, resource displays, and opportunities to contribute to a more accessible community.

Activities, games, prizes, and cookies will be available for participants if they complete six of the ten activities.
