BLOOMINGTON—Nominations for the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Annual Meeting & Community Awards are due TODAY at 5:00 p.m.
The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Meeting and Community Awards on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Monroe Convention Center.
Members are invited to submit their nominations for several awards, which will be presented during the Annual Meeting.
The 2024 Community Awards
As a member of The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, we encourage you to submit your nomination(s) for our Community Awards. Please consider the following seven categories:
- New Business of the Year
- Business of the Year
- Community Anchor
- Outstanding Educator Awards
- 4 Under 40 Awards
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Ambassador of the Year
Spread positivity and appreciation by filling out a nomination for one of the Community Awards.

New Business of the Year: Recognizes a business or organization that has existed for less than five years.
Business of the Year: Recognizes a business or organization that has existed for five years or more.
Community Anchor: This award recognizes a business, organization, or individual that has contributed positively to the local community over a sustained period.
Outstanding Educator Awards: This award recognizes an individual teacher, program director, counselor, administrator, or staff member at Monroe County Community School Corporation or Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation.
4 Under 40: This award recognizes young professionals who significantly impact their organization through their leadership and work ethic while also giving back to the community through civic involvement. **The nominees must be younger than 40 years of age before August 1, 2024, and they must not have won the award in the past (see list of past recipients here).
Lifetime Achievement Award: Recognizes individuals who have had an immeasurable impact on our community over a sustained period.
Ambassador of the Year: This award recognizes an ambassador who has gone above and beyond this past year for the Chamber and its members.
