BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Arts Commission (BAC), in collaboration with the City of Bloomington, has announced its 2024 Artistic Advancement grant cycles to support local artists.
All grants awarded will be $1,000. Applications will be accepted from Monday, August 12, until Friday, September 20, 2024.

Formally called the Emerging Artist Grant, the Artistic Advancement grant funds artists’ professional career advancement in Bloomington, Indiana. It may be used for any expenses related to their work as artists. Artists may practice any generally recognized art form, including but not limited to music, visual arts, performing arts, film, architecture, literature, etc. Recipients are eligible to receive the Artistic Advancement Grant twice. Prior Emerging Artist grant awards count toward this total.
Bloomington Arts Commissioners will also hold office hours between Monday, August 19, and Monday, September 16, for anyone interested in discussing the application process.
