PAOLI – Purdue Extension is offering a two-day Beginner’s Guide to Grant Writing workshop to help individuals and organizations improve their grant writing skills.
The workshop will be held on Monday, September 9th and Monday, October 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time at the Orange County Community Foundation Board Room, located at 1075 Sandyhook Road in Paoli, Indiana.
The workshop is designed for both beginners and intermediate grant writers. Participants will learn how to develop ideas into winning proposals, identify and build relationships with potential funders, and write and speak confidently about the impact of their proposals.
By the end of the first day, participants will have a proposal outline and all the resources they need to develop it into a full proposal. On the second day, participants will practice reviewing a grant proposal, learn strategies for finding funding, and receive an opportunity to polish their proposal with professional feedback.
The cost of the workshop is $225.00, which includes all materials and lunch on both days. However, the Orange County Community Foundation and Orange County Service Council are offering ten $150 scholarships to the first ten registrants.
To register for the workshop or to receive a scholarship code, please contact Brandon Query at 812-723-4150 or bquery@orangecountycommunityfoundation.org. Registration is also available online at https://cvent.me/xnBXQZ. The deadline to register is Monday, September 2, 2024.
