Cummins United Way car show to benefit local charities

SEYMOUR – The Seymour Engine Plant will host the 8th Annual SEP United Way Car Show on Wednesday, September 18th, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will feature a variety of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, tractors, and trucks.

Proceeds from the car show will benefit the United Way of Jackson County. Admission is $10 per vehicle in advance and $15 on the day of the show. The first 50 paid registrations will receive a dash plaque.

The United Way of Jackson County is a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of people in need in Jackson County. The United Way supports a variety of programs and services, including education, health, and housing.

In addition to the car show, there will be food, drinks, and music. Awards will be given for best in class in each category and a Plant Manager’s Choice award.

The Seymour Engine Plant is a Cummins Inc. facility that manufactures diesel engines in Seymour, Indiana.

The car show is open to the public. All makes and models of vehicles are welcome. There will be plenty of parking available. The event will be held rain or shine.
