INDIANAPOLIS – Governor Eric J. Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in Madison and Tipton Counties in honor of Walter Merrill Taylor, the former Mayor of Elwood.
Taylor passed away at the age of 84 on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Governor Holcomb is asking businesses and residents in those counties to lower their flags.
Flags should be flown at half-staff on Friday, August 16, from sunrise to sunset in Madison and Tipton Counties.
