BEDFORD – The City of Bedford has released the following update on road closures.
Lincoln Avenue
Lincoln Avenue from 12th and L Street to John Williams Boulevard, south of the roundabout, will be open starting Friday, August 16th at 6:00 a.m.
16th Streett
16th Street from O Street to Brian Lane Way is still closed.
All utility work has been completed.
E&B Paving has mobilized and started repairs, including roadway work and subgrade improvement. City officials are working with INDOT throughout this project to continue updating citizens on the progress of the repairs. However, a definitive timeline cannot be determined at this time due to unknown repair work.
Semis are asked to use I Street, Beech Street, John Williams Boulevard, Mitchell Road, State Road 58, US 50, and State Road 37.
City officials apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for cooperating as crews improve the city’s infrastructure.
