Gloria L. Seputis, 74, of Mitchell, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 7:49 p.m. at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel.
Gloria was born in Chicago on February 9, 1950, the daughter of Anna (Vanosky) Anderson. She married Peter Seputis on November 28, 1990; he preceded her in death on December 25, 2019. She was the owner and operator of Amy’s Birds in Mitchell. She affectionally loved her animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and Amos, her beloved goat. She attended St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Bedford.
Survivors include her children, Amy Seputis Roll and her husband David of Bedford, Lorrie (Tom Terrell) Sexton of Mitchell, and Timothy James Sexton of Mitchell; grandchildren Sarah Sexton, Julia Sexton, Glorianna Roll, and Paisleigh Roll; and one sister, Barbara Hastings.
Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, husband, Peter Seputis, one son, James Robert Sexton, and one brother, Bobby Miarka.
Cremation was chosen. Cresthaven Funeral Home was entrusted with her care.
