KNOX CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 61 in Knox County.
Crews will begin a road closure for State Road 61 in Knox County near Monroe City on or around Tuesday, August 20. The closure will occur between South Waterworks Road and South Wildwood Lane.
This road closure will allow for deep patching operations to be performed on the roadway. Depending on the weather, this work is expected to take two weeks to complete.
The detour for this project is from State Road 241 to U.S. 50 to State Road 57. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
