Rusty Gator to host Cody Ikerd for a benefit concert for the daughters of Deputy Trueblood

BEDFORD- The Lawrence County community lost a great friend and asset when Deputy Brenten Trueblood passed away tragically on July 27. Some lost so much more than that. Madelyn and Makinley Trueblood, daughters of the late deputy, need the community’s support, just as their father gave his all to support us.

Rusty Gator Fork & Ale is happy to host Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders for a benefit concert, with proceeds going to Madelyn and Makinley. Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 24, at 8 p.m. to enjoy a night on the town for a great cause. Be sure to pack your lawn chair!

The evening will not disappoint, featuring some of Bedford’s finest entertainment. Cody Ikerd is an ultra-talented and accomplished country musician whose blend of old-school twang and modern sensibilities make him a crowd favorite wherever he plays. The Bedford native and his band, The Sidewinders, will keep the house rocking all night.

The Rusty Gator is another Bedford best and a leader in live entertainment in the area. They regularly feature the best local acts and have recently been hosting a scorching series of cover bands. Enjoy some of the best food in town while enjoying the music at beautiful Harp Commons. From burgers to cajun gator bites, Rusty Gator Fork & Ale has you covered. Just be sure to try the cajun egg rolls!
