MEDORA—The Medora Cafe has quickly established itself as a top-notch restaurant offering stellar customer service and delicious home-cooked meals using locally sourced ingredients. To celebrate its grand opening, they have pulled out all the stops to deliver an evening full of fellowship, entertainment, shopping, and great food.
The event will occur on Saturday, September 7, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Medora Cafe, 22 W Main Street. Best of all, 100% of donations will be split between the Medora Park and the Medora Brick Plant Project.
There will be plenty to enjoy at the grand opening. Vendor booths will feature local businesses, crafts, and much more. If you would like to set up a booth, there is no booth fee; just a donation is asked.
If you have a ride you are dying to show off, there will be an automotive show with Jeeps, side-by-sides, cars, and motorcycles. Like the vendor booths, there is no fee to enter a vehicle in the show; just be generous with your donation to the cause.
A homestyle meal of ham and beans with cornbread or hot dogs and chips will be available and sold by donation only on that day. Be sure to bring your lawn chair as you enjoy live music while you eat. A silent auction featuring locally donated items will run throughout the event. More donations are always welcome for the auction, and you can find out how to give or reserve a booth by calling 812-966-5028.
