BROWNSBURG- The Indiana Department of Transportation announces Main Street (U.S. 136) in Brownsburg will temporarily be a one-way road due to construction in the area.
Within the last couple of weeks, crews closed down the westbound lane of U.S. 136 to allow utility crews to work in the area. Due to the westbound lane closure, U.S. 136 is temporarily a one-way heading eastbound only between Seumin Street and Eastern Avenue.
Work is expected to shift to the eastbound lane sometime in December, which will make U.S. 136 through town a one way headed westbound only in the same location. INDOT encourages drivers to be aware of the signage in the area and to only utilize U.S. 136 to travel one way, going eastbound at this time.
