INDIANA – You can now register to virtually attend Meeting 6 of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (Committee), which will be live-streamed on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET and Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. Convened jointly by the U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Agriculture (USDA), the Committee will hear updates from each subcommittee and discuss progress made since Meeting 5. Topics will include evidence review and synthesis, draft conclusion statements, and plans to finalize the Committee’s work, including its Scientific Report.

SAVE-THE-DATE: SCIENTIFIC REPORT MEETING
The 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee will hold its seventh and final virtual meeting on October 21-22, 2024. During this meeting, the Committee will provide an overview and discuss the scientific findings and advice it plans to include in its Scientific Report before the report is submitted to HHS and USDA. Information on how to register for the meeting and the meeting agenda will be provided closer to the meeting date.
