GREENE CO.—Tree felling with a chainsaw can be dangerous, and the only limbs that should be cut are made of wood. Thanks to the Greene County Purdue Extension Office, a Chainsaw Safety and Tree-Felling class will be held on Saturday, September 21, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The class is free and open to the public. Lunch is not offered.
The session begins in the classroom and ends with demonstrations at a Purdue University forested property—instruction provided by Purdue University Forester Don Carlson.
