Albert R. McCullough, 85, of Mitchell, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 9:10 a.m.
He was born in Huron on May 18, 1939, to Roy and Carmen (Tietge) McCullough. Albert married Rita Ann Lanham on August 12, 1961, and she survives. Albert was a veteran of the Indiana National Guard, serving seven years. He worked at RCA in Bloomington for over 30 years and attended the Wesley Chapel Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Ann McCullough of Mitchell; one daughter, Pamela Darnell of Salem; one son, Michael McCullough of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Erica Cooper, Brittany McCullough, and Nicholas McCullough; and one great-grandson, Ace Cooper.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Earl McCullough, Scott McCullough, Leaonard McCullough, and Charles McCullough, and one sister, Peggy Strunk.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
