Faith in Place now accepts grant proposals for up to $30,000 to support tree planting and maintenance projects

INDIANA – Faith in Place now accepts grant proposals for up to $30,000 to support tree planting and maintenance projects! We are excited to help communities plant trees that promote healthier, cleaner, and more peaceful environments without disrupting buildings or sidewalks.

To be eligible, organizations must be located in an environmental justice community and be either a House of Worship or have a 501(c)(3) designation. You can learn more about eligibility and this grant opportunity here.

If you’re ready to check your eligibility and get an application started, follow these three steps: 

Step 1: Create a User Account on our online grant portal. Instructions for how to do this are available in this video.

Step 2: Complete the Eligibility Questionnaire (listed as “LOI” in the Grant Portal). This will collect basic information to ensure you are eligible for the grant before working on your application.  Step 3: Wait to hear from us. Our team will review your submission, and if you meet the criteria, we’ll invite you to submit the full application through the portal.
