Jeffrey ‘Dustin’ Hanners, 40, of Oolitic, passed away at his home on Friday, August 30, 2024.
Dustin was born in Bedford on October 26, 1983, to Jeff and Janet (Pruett) Hanners. Dustin married Amber Johnson on April 20, 2009, and she survives.
Dustin worked as a traffic controller for Mid-America. He was a wonderful father, loving husband, son, and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Amber Hanners of Oolitic; three children, Kennedy Hanners, Maliki Hanners, and Kaegan Hanners; his mother, Janet Hanners; his father and stepmother, Jeff and Salli Hanners of Springville; his grandmother, Wanda LuAllen of Bedford; one brother, Jayson Hanners of Bedford; one sister, Jerrica DelFierro of Bedford; and two stepbrothers, Jeremy Lake of Springville and Jake Lake of Springville.
Funeral services will be on Friday September 6, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, with Pastor Reno Bates officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
