BARTHOLOMEW CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Beaty Construction, Inc. plans to conduct shoulder closures on State Road 11 and State Road 46 beginning on or after Monday, September 9, to complete wall maintenance work in Columbus.
Work will take place on the right shoulder of eastbound S.R. 46 between Morgan Willow Trace and 1st Street and on the right shoulder of northbound S.R. 11 at Garden Road. Weather permitting, the work is expected to take up to one month.
This work is part of a $12.4 million contract awarded to Beaty Construction in February 2021. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
