DUBOIS CO. – Dubois County has joined the list of areas in the Tristate region to impose a burn ban.
According to Dubois County Emergency Management officials, the ban prohibits all forms of open burning using traditional fuel or the burning of debris. However, the use of charcoal or propane-fueled grills is permitted.
Burn bans remain in place for Henderson, Spencer, Vanderburgh, Gibson, Posey, and Warrick counties. According to officials, violators of these bans could potentially face fines.
