COLUMBUS—The annual Scottish festival, held at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds, 750 W 200 S, Columbus, on the second weekend in September, brings a delightful Highland tradition to southern Indiana.
The Columbus Scottish Festival celebrates the history and traditions of Scottish culture. On September 7th and 8th, attendees can enjoy historical reenactments, a highland games competition, traditional dance and music performances, sheep dog demonstrations, whiskey tastings, delicious Scottish fare, and various children’s activities. This is truly an event with something for the entire family.
