BEDFORD—There is still time to register to attend Leadership Lawrence County.
First started in 1986, Leadership Lawrence County is focused on encouraging civic engagement and building community leaders.
Leadership Lawrence County meets one day a month from September to May.
Through the class’s focus on tourism development, non-profit and philanthropy, economic development, local government, state government, small business development, and professional development, participants will gain leadership skills and capabilities, develop professionalism, and engage in the public policy process.
Leadership Lawrence County meets one day a month from September to May, with each class focused on a different theme. The designed monthly meetings are centered on these aspects in Lawrence County. LLC encourages commitment and action in the community. Participants will visit the State House to speak with representatives, meet with local government officials and business owners, learn about local non-profits, and grow as citizens of Lawrence County.
