BEDFORD – Runners and walkers, mark your calendars! The Bedford Federal Savings Bank Limestone Capital Half Marathon Expo is gearing up for another exciting year, and you won’t want to miss it. This free event takes place on Friday, October 4th, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Milwaukee Depot on the corner of 14th and J Streets.
The expo is your one-stop shop for everything related to the race. Here, you can:
- Pick up your race packet: Get your bib number, participant t-shirt, and any other race materials.
- Meet fellow runners and walkers: Connect with fellow participants and build some pre-race excitement.
This year’s expo adds a special touch by offering a shoe donation drive. Participants are encouraged to bring their gently used running shoes to benefit deserving organizations in Lawrence County. Donated shoes will be distributed by Becky’s Place, Men’s Warming Shelter, and the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County. This is a fantastic opportunity to clear out your closet and support those in need while getting ready for the big race.
