Marlene Ann Sipes, 76, of Bedford, passed away at 8:24 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Majestic Care in Bedford.
Born January 25, 1948, in Pidgeon, MI, she was the daughter of Roy and Mary (Miller) Reed. She married Charles Mike Sipes on September 9, 1972. She was a department manager for Walmart.
Survivors include children Tim Banks (Judy) of Buddha, Jeremy Sipes of Bedford, Amber Cleary (Sean) of New York, NY; Chris Banks of Bedford; and Scott Sipes of NC; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Donna Courtney and Dawn Reed.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Hauersperger officiating. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16th, and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, September 17th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
