BEDFORD—The Motorcychos Charity Club is gearing up for its 5th Annual Team Tori Memorial Ride, a charitable event to support a Bedford child. This year’s ride is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the American Legion Gillen Post 33, 515 X Street in Bedford.
The event, a staple in the community, combines the love for motorcycles with a noble cause. This year’s recipient is Kambreyah Rose, a 5-year-old Bedford resident diagnosed with a gene mutation of the ACTG2. This rare condition affects her abdominal muscles, causing them not to work together correctly. The contraction and relaxation of smooth muscles cannot contract or move the food and fluids to the correct compartments, which results in severe malnutrition and bladder dysfunction. As a result, Kambreyah has undergone multiple hospital stays, medical procedures, and surgeries.
“Our annual ride is more than just an event; it’s a lifeline for families facing challenging medical situations,” said a spokesperson for the Motorcychos Charity Club. “We’re honored to support Kambreyah and her family this year.”
Participants can join the ride for a donation of $20 per bike, and a breakfast buffet will be available for purchase. The day’s activities will extend beyond the ride, featuring a 50/50 drawing and a silent auction from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Bedford Wings & Ring.
The Team Tori Memorial Ride has garnered support from various organizations, including the American Legion and Team Tori, as evidenced by their logos on the event flyer.
