JASPER—The public is cordially invited to a public information meeting to review maps and discuss plans for Section 2 of the Mid-States Corridor, which is the focus of the current study in Dubois County.
The project team will provide updates and share a timeline for the Section 2 study during the meeting, which has been scheduled for Thursday, September 26th, at Jasper Middle School, situated at 3600 North Portersville Road in Jasper.
The doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the presentation will commence at 6 p.m.
The Mid-States Corridor Project aims to explore an improved highway connection in southern Indiana. It would generally run parallel to US 231 from Interstate 64, passing east of Huntingburg and the Jasper area and extending north to link up with Interstate 69. It’s worth noting that Section 2 is the only segment currently under examination, spanning from I-64 to just north of Haysville.
